- Digestive enzyme(s). Lecithin helps to support liver function. Siberian ginseng is used in Herbal Medicine as a tonic to help relieve general debility and/or to aid during convalescence. Provides antioxidants.

- Cautions and Warnings
- Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a liver disorder; if you have any type of acute infection; if you are undergoing hormone replacement therapy (HRT) or taking birth control medication or taking prescription medications. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhoea) occur, worsen, or persist beyond 3 days. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have an iron deficiency. If you have a gastrointestinal lesion/ ulcer, are taking an anticoagulant/ blood thinner, anti-inflammatory or antibiotic, or are having surgery, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. If symptoms persist or worsen, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking medications for diabetes, high blood pressure, or seizures. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you develop symptoms of liver trouble (such as abdominal pain, dark urine or yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice), sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness and/or loss of appetite). If you have allergy to latex or fruits (such as avocado, banana, chestnut, passion fruit, fig, melon, mango, kiwi, pineapple, peach, and tomato), consult a health care practitioner prior to use. This product contains milk and soy, do not use if you have a milk or soy allergy.
- Contra-Indications
- Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance; if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, or a kidney or cardiovascular disorder. Do not use if you are taking health products that affect blood coagulation (e.g. blood thinners, clotting factor replacements, acetylsalicylic acid, ibuprofen, fish oils, vitamin E) as this may increase the risk of spontaneous bleeding. Do not use if you are experiencing nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhoea or severe abdominal pain. Do not use if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g. AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment). Do not take if you have a known allergy to grass or flower pollens, bees, or bee products. Do not use if you have a history of systemic lupus erythematosus. If you have a history of asthma or allergies, do not use this product.
- Known Adverse Reactions
- Hypersensitivity/allergy has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Gastro-intestinal disturbance such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea have been known to occur, in which case discontinue use (and consult a health care practitioner). Rare, unpredictable cases of liver injury associated with green tea extract-containing products have been reported (in Canada and internationally).
