Product licence holders may voluntarily provide the Natural and Non-Prescription Health Products Directorate (NNHPD) with information about whether their product is currently available to Canadian consumers. The "current status" field remains unaffected and will continue to indicate the status of the product licence (i.e., active, discontinued, stop sale, cancelled, or suspended). Note that where a licence has been suspended, cancelled or under stop sale, the product cannot be legally sold in Canada.

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a liver disorder or develop symptoms of liver trouble. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have an iron deficiency. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking antiplatelet medication or blood thinners. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have gallstones or a bile duct obstruction. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have stomach ulcers or excess stomach acid. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have stomach ulcers or inflammation. Do not use while on chemotherapy. Stop taking 2 days before chemotherapy. Take prevent only 30 days after your last chemotherapy has ended. Do not use if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family. If you are taking prescription medications or natural health products, consult a health care practitioner prior to use, as resveratrol and black pepper may alter their effectiveness . Stop use and consult a health care practitioner if you develop symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness and/or loss of appetite. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a liver disorder or an iron deficiency. If you have kidney stones, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. If you are taking antibiotics, do not use this product. If you are taking nitroglycerin, do not use this product. Keep out of the reach of children. If overdose or accidental ingestion occurs, call a Poison Control Center immediately.
Known Adverse Reactions 
Rare, unpredictable cases of liver injury associated with green tea extract-containing products have been reported (in Canada and internationally).
