Note - The market status of a product is now available in the LNHPD and identifies if a product is "marketed" or "not marketed" in Canada. Product licence holders may voluntarily provide the Natural and Non-Prescription Health Products Directorate (NNHPD) with information about whether their product is currently available to Canadian consumers. Where no information has been provided, the default status is "not marketed". The "current status" field remains unaffected and will continue to indicate the status of the product licence (i.e., active, discontinued, stop sale, cancelled, or suspended). Note that where a licence has been suspended, cancelled or under stop sale, the product cannot be legally sold in Canada.

Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to aid digestion. Used in a Traditional Herbal Medicine to helps stimulate the production of bile. Used in a Traditional Herbal Medicine as an alternatives to help remove accumulated waste products from the body. Used in a Traditional Herbal Medicine as a diuretic and to help relieve irritation or mild inflammation of the urinary tract.

- Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen or if new symptoms develop. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you have gall bladder disorder, faecal impaction or symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever, an autoimmune disorder, a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, leukosis, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS and/or HIV infection. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are taking immunosuppressants or other prescription drugs. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have stomach ulcers or inflammation. If you have gastrointestinal tract disorder or have symptoms of intestinal spasms, consult a health care practitioner. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a gallbladder disease/disorder and/or intestinal obstruction.
- Contra-Indications
- Do not use if you are allergic to any of Herbal D-Tox program component, anethole or to plants of the asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy/Apiaceae/Carrot family. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use if you have a kidney, cardiovascular or liver disorder, bile stones, hypokalemia, high or low blood pressure, diabetes or edema, abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel, appendicitis, inflammatory colon disease such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes or diarrhea. Do not use if you are taking products containing diuretics, or if you are taking products containing licorice. Do not use if you have irritated digestive conditions. Keep out of reach of children. If overdose or accidental ingestion occurs, call a Poison Control Center immediately. Do not use if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance.
- Known Adverse Reactions
- If you experience any kind of adverse effects to any of the products in the Herbal D-Tox program, discontinue taking them and consult your healthcare practitioner. Stop use and seek medical attention immediately if you experience dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness or pain, abnormal heart beat and/or difficulty breathing. Reduce dose or discontinue use if you experience abdominal pain, cramps, spasms and/or diarrhea. Hypersensitivity is known to occur, in which case, discontinue use.
