Product licence holders may voluntarily provide the Natural and Non-Prescription Health Products Directorate (NNHPD) with information about whether their product is currently available to Canadian consumers. Where no information has been provided, the default status is "not marketed". The "current status" field remains unaffected and will continue to indicate the status of the product licence (i.e., active, discontinued, stop sale, cancelled, or suspended). Note that where a licence has been suspended, cancelled or under stop sale, the product cannot be legally sold in Canada.

As with all other notifications, there is no current service standard. The NNHPD will process the market status update as soon as feasible, based on its available resources. As such, products that are identified in the LNHPD as "not marketed" may still be sold in Canada.

- Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset occur, worsen, or persist beyond 3 days. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are sensitive to dairy products, if you are taking other drugs or herbal supplements. Discontinue use if you develop nausea or vomiting. This product has come into contact with milk and soy. Do not use this product if you have a milk or soy allergy. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; if you have or are predisposed to cancer; if you have diabetes; if you suffer from an immune disorder (e.g. Crohns disease, myasthenia gravis, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erytthematosus, HIV/Aids, etc.), asthma, are taking immunosuppressants or have severe allergies; if you have a liver or kidney disease or if you have been instructed to follow a low protein diet. Not suitable for a person with an allergy to cow's milk.
- Contra-Indications
- Do not use if you are experiencing nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, or severe abdominal pain. Do not use if you have an immune-compromised condition.
