Note - The market status of a product is now available in the LNHPD and identifies if a product is "marketed" or "not marketed" in Canada. Product licence holders may voluntarily provide the Natural and Non-Prescription Health Products Directorate (NNHPD) with information about whether their product is currently available to Canadian consumers. Where no information has been provided, the default status is "not marketed". The "current status" field remains unaffected and will continue to indicate the status of the product licence (i.e., active, discontinued, stop sale, cancelled, or suspended). Note that where a licence has been suspended, cancelled or under stop sale, the product cannot be legally sold in Canada.

Recommended use or purpose:
Helps in the treatment of recurrent vaginal mycosis (yeast infection). Helps to treat symptoms of yeast infections including: excessive discharge, burning and vaginal dryness. Helps to restore normal healthy vaginal flora following antibiotic treatment. To help treat bacterial vaginosis after initial treatment with antibiotics. Adjunct therapy to help treat bacterial vaginosis. Adjunct therapy to help prevent recurrent vaginal mycosis (yeast infection).

Cautions and Warnings 
This product has come into contact with milk. Do not use this product if you have a milk allergy. If you have nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea or severe abdominal pain, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Do not use if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g., AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment). Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant. Take Provacare 2-3 hours before or after taking an antibiotic. Do not use if the bottle safety seal is broken or missing. Store out of reach of children.
