Note - The market status of a product is now available in the LNHPD and identifies if a product is "marketed" or "not marketed" in Canada. Product licence holders may voluntarily provide the Natural and Non-Prescription Health Products Directorate (NNHPD) with information about whether their product is currently available to Canadian consumers. Where no information has been provided, the default status is "not marketed". The "current status" field remains unaffected and will continue to indicate the status of the product licence (i.e., active, discontinued, stop sale, cancelled, or suspended). Note that where a licence has been suspended, cancelled or under stop sale, the product cannot be legally sold in Canada.

- Psyllium is used in herbal medicine as a bulk-forming laxative and to promote bowel movements by increasing bulk volume and water content. Psyllium provides gentle relief of constipation and/or irregularity. Lowers cholesterol. Promotes heart health. Helps to maintain a healthy cardiovascular system by promoting healthy cholesterol levels.

- Ask a health care practitioner before use if you are breastfeeding. Ask a health care practitioner if symptoms worsen or if laxative effect does not occur within 7 days. Ask a health care practitioner immediately if you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty swallowing or breathing after taking this product. Ask a health care practitioner before use if you have diabetes or a lazy bowel.
- Contra-Indications
- Do not use if you are pregnant. Do not use if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, or a kidney, liver or cardiovascular disorder. Do not use if you are taking heart medications, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives, or other health products that may contribute electrolyte imbalance. Do not use if you have difficulty swallowing. Do not use if you have fever or any undiagnosed gastrointestinal trouble.
- Known Adverse Reactions
- Stop use if hypersensitivity/allergy occurs. When using this product you may experience temporary gas and bloating.
